2014 Recap and Holiday Hiatus

We can hardly believe another year is over, it seems they’re going by quicker and quicker. This one was a big one for us; Veronica gave birth to her first in January, so it’s been quite the adventure for her as a new mommy. Ashley and her beau bought a new place and spent the summer renovating it, which was its own adventure.

We’ve been pretty busy, but have still somehow managed to read through a ton of great and exciting books this year, discover great new authors and stumble upon old authors that were new to us. It’s been one of our best in terms of amount books read and as a result, our blog has picked up pace, which we can’t thank you guys enough for!

As the holidays approach, we’re going to be take a couple of weeks hiatus to enjoy time with our friends and family, but we’re looking forward to coming back stronger than ever in 2015 with some exciting new guest posts (including one from Kristi Charish), a new movie vs book component and tons more reviews.

In the mean time, here’s a recap of our year in books.
