City Adventure: Eat to the Beat at Roy Thomson Hall – November 1, 2016

ashley | Last night, we attended one of our favourite fall events, Eat to the Beat. This is an event we like to hit up every year not just because of the savoury and sweet dishes created by 60 female chefs, or because of the drinks and entertainment, but because this fundraiser is an important fundraiser for people living with breast cancer.

Presented by KitchenAid®, this year ETTB was in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) and they were serving everything from meatballs to open faced sliders to wonton tarts to decadent desserts.

If we had to narrow it down to our favourite vendor, it would be a tie between the chicken and waffles from Chef Felicia Derose and Fancy Farm Girl wine, with the motto “There is a fancy farm girl in all of us.” which resonates with us deeply.
